Reliable data.
Better performance.
Our IoT-based data collection solutions capture real-time data from HVAC and building systems to help you monitor performance, identify issues early, and optimize energy use.
LAYER ONE: SENSORS
Three Ways to Collect
Measurements
Enerinno collects operating data from HVAC and building systems using wireless sensors, existing equipment controllers, and wired instruments. We select the most practical connection method for each project to support reliable monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance verification.

Wireless Sensors
Collect temperature, humidity, pressure and other measurements wirelessly, reducing installation costs and the need for additional wiring.

Existing Equipment Controllers
Access available operating data, including temperatures, status and setpoints, directly from compatible HVAC controllers using Modbus or BACnet.

Wired Sensors and Interface Modules
Measure temperature, pressure, flow and electrical parameters using wired sensors and compatible analog, pulse and digital interfaces.

Output capabilities and direct-control functions depend on the gateway, connected I/O modules, equipment interfaces and approved control configuration.
Edge Processing
Local data analysis and calculations at the IoT gateway before transmitting selected results to the cloud.
How It Works
Data Validation
Collect and check sensor readings.
Filtering & Aggregation
Filter measurements, calculate averages and trends, and prepare relevant results for transmission.
Performance Calculations
Calculate capacity, energy, COP, EER and GUE when required data is available.
Local Storage & Transmission
Store data where configured and securely send processed results.
Local Control
Execute authorized application-specific logic where supported.
Equipment Integration
Exchange measurements and commands with compatible controllers through configured communication protocols.
Advantages of Edge Processing
- Reduced cloud data traffic
- Faster local calculations and responses
- Local processing during internet interruptions, where configured
- Useful performance data for troubleshooting

Applications
Edge processing supports residential, light-commercial and commercial HVAC systems by analyzing equipment data locally before transmitting results to the cloud. It helps identify performance deficiencies, support system optimization and verify energy savings.
